What does Experience Design look like with us?

Our Process.

Experience Strategy.

We run a planning workshop to understand the business objectives, target audience, problem space, and unique value proposition. Our goal is to establish a clear vision and set achievable goals for the experience. We then create a plan to execute, and if there is an existing product or service, we conduct an experience analysis to understand its strengths and weaknesses.

Customer Discovery.

We'll gather data through interviews, surveys, observations, usability testing, and analysis of support tickets and customer feedback to better understand your customers' behaviours, motivations, and pain points. We aim to align these insights with your business objectives to build experiences that genuinely meet the needs of both your customers and your business.

Opportunities.

Building on the insights from the Customer Discovery phase, we'll identify opportunities for improvement within the experience and use ideation methods to push solutions further. Concepts are communicated through wireframes, prototypes and mapping. As the ideas take shape, we'll create high-fidelity UI designs, establish experience guidelines, and develop a design system to guide the final execution.

Validation.

We begin a continuous process of testing and refining ideas with customers, stakeholders, and your team. As a result, we'll bounce between this and the Opportunities phase. Usability testing will be a key focus, and for digital experiences, we'll work closely with your development team. The aim is to create a human-centred experience, and by validating early on, you'll save on budget and resources.

Launch & Monitor.

In the Launch & Monitor phase, we finalise and hand over the validated experience solution and its documentation to your team for implementation, ensuring a smooth transfer of ownership. We'll also provide a plan for ongoing monitoring and measuring success metrics, which will help ensure that the experience continues to deliver its intended impact and when refinements may be needed.

“Bo Studio is fantastic to work with and highly adept at taking techie people on a positive UX journey. The work they’ve done for us was fabulous and now they’re an important part of our team.”

Accordian link openerAccordian link closer

A project can range between 1 to 6 months, depending on its scope. Timelines can be drawn out by issues such as delayed user research or feedback, but we try to minimise these impacts by anticipating and addressing them to keep on schedule.

How involved do I need to be?

You're the experts in your business, and we're the experts in experience design, so we find collaboration the most valuable. Every project is different, but we'll likely need at least a half day with you during each process phase. Before the project starts, we'll set expectations so you can plan accordingly.

Are design files included?
